Exhale Spa and the Love/Avon Army of Women have partnered together to raise awareness of our unique program that offers men and women the opportunity to help unlock the key to preventing breast cancer.
Exhale is an urban spa oasis merging mind and body to support you on your path to overall transformation and wellbeing. Offerings include body therapies, facials, nails, waxing, healing modalities such as acupuncture, nationally acclaimed proprietary Core Fusion® classes, yoga, nutrition and wellness programs, and much more.
The Love/Avon Army of Women is seeking to recruit one million women nationwide to move breast cancer beyond a cure and help researchers learn what causes breast cancer. Women across the U.S. are encouraged to be “one in a million” by signing up to the part of the Army of Women.
The Love/Avon Army of Women is an initiative of the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, thanks to a generous grant from the Avon Foundation for Women. It was launched on October 1, 2008 to mark the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Over the years, millions of dollars has been raised that has advanced treatment and early detection, but researchers still do not know what causes the disease. The Love/Avon Army of Women empowers men and women with a new opportunity – a simple but revolutionary call for one million people of all ages and ethnicities to join the “Army of Women” and consider serving as research volunteers to help scientists understand the causes of breast cancer – and how to end it once and for all.
Together, Exhale and the Army of Women hope to empower women, whether it’s in the form of encouragement to take a stand for your wellbeing or to take a stand for breast cancer research, we want YOU as healthy as you can be. And, we want our future generation to be even healthier.
