Supporting Blogger Guidelines

As a Supporting Blogger, you agree to:

1. Post all current Army of Women (AOW) studies as part of your blog. All current studies can be found here.
2. In addition to posting the current studies link on your blog, as each new study is announced, draft a new blog promoting the latest study.
3. Share any significant stories, links, videos, pictures, promotions that the AOW is participating in with your readers. Keep up to date by doing the following:
   1. Visit our YOUTUBE page and share our videos.
   2. Follow us on TWITTER and tweet about the AOW.
   3. Become a member of our official FACEBOOK page by clicking “like” and share our Facebook content.
   4. Encourage your readers to sign up for the AOW by dedicating several posts throughout the year regarding the initiative. See our suggestions on story angles and talking points.
   5. Include the AOW widget and button on your homepage.
   6. Remember to tweet about the AOW and update your Facebook status with appropriate and relevant messaging.

As a recognized Supporting Blogger, once you have taken the pledge AND sent us your first post, we will do the following:

1. Include you on our “Supporting Blogger Network” page with a brief bio (SORRY BLOGGERS—NO PICTURES OR GRAPHICS OF ANY KIND!)
2. Highlight you as a Supporting Blogger in our Monthly Update newsletter—it currently reaches more than 340,000 women.

2. We will send you a confirmation email once your application is approved.
3. Please make sure you read the suggested story angles.
4. Don’t forget to send us your AOW post to info@armyofwomen.org
5. Once we receive your first post, we will request a brief bio.
6. Once we receive all your information, you will be included on the AOW Supporting Blogger Page and will be mentioned in an Army of Women update newsletter.
